Wow- just when you think you have seen it all. This is an actual email I have received from a student. I removed students name and class number. Let me say again....>>WOWWWWWWW. With no insult to your class or your teaching, This is a class that means nothing more to me than 3 credit hours on my transcript. The letter grade that I desire for this course is only one that allows me to pass the class and receive credit hours. With that being said, I am coming to you for help. For fear that I may not graduate, lose my job, and change the course of my entire future, I am asking, begging rather, to see if there is a plan that eases the intense burden I am under and allow me to pass the class. I was imagining something along the lines of a set of assignments unique to me that you would like me to complete to show that I know the material to a level that is satisfactory to you. If there is anything you can do to help my situation please let me know.
