Wow!!! 16 days of foolishness finally comes to an end after the far right took the Republican Party and the nation hostage to the tune of $24 Billion dollars. Yes!! That was the cost to the country for the government shut down, according to standard and poor (S & P). Also, the U.S. treasury bills now cost the country more in interests, in order to make it attractable to investors around the globe. Those who claim that their idea or goal is to reduce the deficit and government spending did this. This is like hijacking an airplane without any of the hijackers knowing how to fly the airplane. Because after shutting down the government, they had no plans on how to navigate their way out of the web they weaved. When it came time to vote, 18 republicans voted no in the senate and 144 voted no in the house. No vote’s means that they wanted to continue the stalemate. So all the Democrats had to vote for the bill, in order to clean up the mess created by the Republican far right led by congressman Ted Cruz from Texas. MAY GOD HELP US ALL.
