Wow 180 countries, 3500 competitors and over 2000 spectators thats the size of the tournament at the world championships in Tuscany (Italy) and what an emotional and happy time we had being a part of team England with the ICO family The opening ceremony was amazing we watched the torch be lit then each country walked around the arena with their flag and the brass band played The atmosphere was great with everyone chanting outside and inside the arena it was amazing it brought a lump to your throat. Myself and Alison (twins mom) cried when Zac and Owen had to fight each other we Cldnt believe it they both got a yellow card for lack of aggression so had to fight harder even Shaun had a tear in his eye Cried again when Callum thought he won his fight but it didnt go in his favour. Then got upset again watching Chris Squirrel from BKA get gold in honour of his dad who recently passed away it was heartbreaking but really happy for him. We got kicked off a train goin to wot we thought was Pisa but realised train was goin the wrong way (long story)!!!!! We had some great laughs along the way it was a great bonding session and have made many new friends.
