Wow, 2 posts in one day, Im doing pretty good, lol. We met with the radiologist this afternoon about radiation on the hip and I must say after talking to him I feel much better about things. I go back Tuesday for them to map out my radiation spot. They asked if it was ok for them to tattoo a small dot to mark the spot. They laughed when I showed them my tattoos and said it would not be a problem at all (I have 5), lol. They will do 14 treatments and that will be it. He said the spot is small and that should take care of it. I go every day for 3 weeks, no weekends. He showed me the PET scan and where the cancer showed up on the hip and on the lung. In his opinion they are both easy to take care of. I asked him why the spot on the breast didnt show up in the PET scan but came back positive for cancer. He showed me where it was and said it was because it was so small, therefore caught very early. I will be completely at ease when I go back in for surgery next week to make sure it was all removed. He also assured me the 2 cancers are completely separate. The breast cancer is not related to the lung cancer, just my bad luck that they happened at the same time. Or I guess maybe we could say it is my good luck and by Gods grace that it was caught now before it was more of an issue. Please keep the prayers coming. I admit it was a bit of a downer today but I know without a doubt in my mind that God is in control and I will be ok. BELIEVE!! Love you all and God Bless!
