Wow, 50 Thousand Likes! Cant believe it! When I started this page it was simply an outlet for a passion that dates back to childhood. I never expected it to be much more than a few friends (and of course my mom) that would ever like” it. Today I see that it has grown into a community of over 50,000 people, who very much like the Hudson Valley, bring individually special elements to this page. I am truly humbled by what this page has become, and even more excited about the future. I have said it many times before, and I will say it again, thank you Hudson Valley for letting that child from 24 years ago live out his dream of being a “weatherman. I may never be a professional meteorologist, but this is better than that title could ever be. With that being said, lets get to the special announcement: Ever wish you didnt need to check Facebook for a HVW forecast? What if you dont have your phone? What if the power is out? We are excited to announce a partnership that will allow the HVW forecasts to be available on some of your favorite radio stations in the Hudson Valley! Starting tomorrow you get the HVW forecasts on the following Clear Channel stations: LITE 92-1 96-1 KISSFM 1450 WKIP ROCK 93-3 Country 107.3 106.9 99.3 1230 AM and WRWD! We have also formed a web-based partnership with Clear Channel of the Hudson Valley. Also, the HVW website is just about ready for a relaunch! This is a very exciting step for HVW, and will allow our information to extend further than Facebook could ever permit. Once we relaunch the website (as early as this week) we will be able to reach even more people, including those who dont use social networking. A special thanks to Chuck Benfer, Market Manager, and Chris Marino, Operations Manager, of the aforementioned stations for helping this all come together.
