Wow! 50... Weird... I still feel like a kid. according to my children, I act like it most times. Being one of the oldest moms at grade school I am a bit self conscience at times about my age. there are parents walking the halls young enough to be my own child. So I recently asked my 12 yr old how he felt about having a much older mom that his friends. He replied. Its ok I guess, it means you are much smarter, know more things and done more things. I think thats good. Kids can be brutally honest at times. Your old, you dress weird etc. But there are times like these that they remind us what our role is...to guide, challenge, nurture and love them. I suppose I am not too old to do those things.
