Wow! A touching, heart wrenching story! This 19 year old basketball player hails from Lawrenceburg, Indiana near Cincinnati. She was diagnosed with a terminal, inoperable brain tumor shortly after her 18th birthday. After a recent doctors visit, she is not expected to live past Christmas. She is on the basketball team at a small college Mount Saint Joes and the NCAA has granted a waiver of rules to allow the first game of this season to be moved up to November 2nd. Hiram College has agreed to come to the Mount on that day to allow Lauren the opportunity to play in a college game. Hiram was to host the game between the schools a couple of weeks later. There is no cure for her tumor and survival rate is 0%.
