Wow. Amazing speech. Just because someones skin color is different doesnt take away their basic right of self defense of their life and liberty. Self defense is not violence, yet the media called Malcolm an extremist for advocating for a basic human right of defense. I dont advocate violence and I do think love is the answer, and Malcolm was also without a doubt about love of the human family. But being silent in the face of injustice, waiting for your oppressor to liberate you, is naive and suicidal. None is more perfect an example than the case of the Palestinians, who have every right to resist against IDF soldiers and not just with rocks and stones. Most genocides take place when the people are disarmed. Palestinian disarmament has been the greatest tool of the occupying oppressors.
