Wow & Awesome are inadequate words to describe Seckou Keita & Catrin Finchs concert last night at The Artrix in Bromsgrove: A sublime fusion of two harps (the West African Kora & the Welsh Harp) & two musical styles seamlessly woven together.... Two amazingly gifted musicians played music that touched my heart strings, caused joyful tears to flow on many occasions by their subtle weaving of melodies and rhythm. Astonishing music to lift the spirit and nourish the soul. I came away feeling uplifted. Playing their new CD on the drive home, I was smiling the whole way! The evening was made perfect by sharing it with so many lovely friends. Like a big family gathering! With Nigel Sadler, Anne-Marie, Sarah Westwood, Chrissy Bridge, John Poole, Ellen Carolan, Julia Barnsley, Ruth & Mike, Chandramoon Moon & Pete, Karen Sara Smith & Chris, Diane Harper-Camara & Mobe...I have probably missed a few out..sorry if I have. Thank you Seckou Keita & Catrin. :)
