Wow.. Cant wait for this movie, seeing a movie based on the Sherman tank... Seen 2 versions in the trailer, I think was a conventional M4 Sherman and the M4A3A8 or Easy Eight with a 76mm gun which was widely used during the Ardennes campaign as well as during the Battle of the Bulge until the push to Berlin... Poorly armoured tank but what it lacked in the armour compensated in the low cost of maintenance and the speed in which it can manuever, cant wait to see Hollywoods take on a tank to tank battle scene especially against the Germans Panzers and Tigers... My history is a bit rusty but based on the trailer Brad Pitt mentioned about they were hit hard and almost wiped them out... I think this was during the German counter offensive during the battle of the Bulge but I can be wrong...
