Wow... Double figures boys. Newtown 10-1 Dilligaf. Good performance boys. Started shockingly but still the better team. Our first goal came from a beautiful free kick from Sam Ashbee Next up to score was a drilled effort from Sean Duff with an assist from Dave. Conceded a horrible goal when 3 opposing players were offside but bad refereeing decision went against us. Third, fourth and fifth goals from no other than Mr Hattrick Neil Duff. Next goal scorer was Kyle Brownlie with a lovely finish off the volley from a free kick by Sam. A second goal from Sean Duff made it 7-1. Casual lob from David Alexander made it 8-1. Challenge in the box allowed Kris Yardley to convert a casual penalty into the bottom corner 9-1. Neil took his tally 16 goals in 6 games with his usual elastic legs dropping the keeper to his knees to end the scoring 10-1. Special mention to Kris Yardley who missed an absolute sitter on the line minutes before the final whistle. All in all a good performance. 6 wins out of 6 for Newtown now onto the Energywise Cup first up Kross Bar.
