Wow I am proud to say that on April 4 I will complete 12 yrs of service with the company in which I enjoy working for.. @ the age of 17 looking for a job to support my wants and needs I started working for mcdonalds and as time neared for me to finish school I figured I would continue working for the company with no intensions of staying. 2 yrs passed and I was offered a position as a swing manager and pulled my share of 3rd shifts when all I could do was think about going out and partying with my friends .. Time passed and after 4 yrs I was offered a position as an assistant, with time I worked my way up and worked at many locations including all the restaurants in dalton and even Chatsworth including opening up the new location In front of the old walmart... Not to mention working under several store managers who taught me nothing but value in a hard days work. as many of you know including my close friends after working so hard at what I love doing the most I was promoted to GM august 1 2013. I have to say this in fact has been a great journey and I look forward to many more yrs to come b/c I found my career. for those of you who say mcdonalds cant be a career its made me the person I am today and pays damn good to be a fast industry.. I was recently offered my 2 month sabbatical in which you receive after 10 yrs of service with the company after becoming a manager,and when I do take this 2 month vacation I plan on traveling and adventuring with my 401 k that I have spent time saving b/c it is much deserved... When you love what you do its no longer called a job!!!!
