Wow. I do agree that Marines dont run around asking for stuff and generally just want to go get in a fight and also that there is a reall danger of going soft, but this is so full of errors and untruths that the SGTMaj should be brought up on contempt of congress charges. Of course, he is currently well compensated and has a retirement and second jobs already lined up so why does he care? Marines dont want new gear, they are sick of getting new gear. Give us the old gear that actually worked or we finally figured out to make do and quit using the Corps spending as an economic stimulus plan to make friends for when you retire! And less pay equalling more discipline is a joke or insult, not sure which. The lowest paid junior Marine and the Lowest paid SNCOs are usually the biggest troublemakers. Low pay = less electronics to play and more cheap beer and liquor as well as Less money for weightlifting supplements.More pay just means more tattoos and clubbing. If less pay works so well, He should make a test run for everyone else. Zero dollars for a year should make him the most disciplined Marine Ever!
