Wow, I gotta say - I joined this group to look for some rational, logical discussion about the beautiful experience we call life. Im a secular person but believe that people from all walks of life, cultures, faiths and backgrounds all have knowledge, wisdom and experience to share and learn from. Im a member of a number of secular groups and forums, where we have great, mind expanding intellectual discussions with the very occasional troll (which was always obvious and immediately banned). However, after joining this group, Ive quickly surmised that more people than I realised want to share bigoted, xenophobic views and the level of actual rational discussion is dissapointing. Is this group having a bad week? Or should I take my positive energy somewhere else because Im scrolling through a lot of hate to find any.
