Wow, I havent made a post since Sunday! Ive had some issues with the University of Nebraska WiFi and some very long days, but it is good to be able to say, Finally, The Ship has come back to Facebook! So, heres the highlights so far here at the Christ in Youth (CIY) conference: 1. Every single time I get to hear our youth sing and participate in the worship service. Nothing gets this youth pastors heart beating quite like it. 2. Seeing Amber grow as a leader and do an incredible job not only as a sponsor to the girls, but opening up and sharing with all of us. 3. Watching the boys win the volleyball tournament today! 4. Wearing an OU shirt and hat today and yelling, Boomer! and occasionally getting a Sooner! in return! Yes, Kevin S. Hanel, I know youre disappointed :) 5. Seeing youth make tremendous strides in their understanding of the Gospel and being able to encourage them in their walk with Christ (or to begin their walk with Christ) Those are my top five for the week (so far). Tomorrow, we get to have lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings (BDubs) and go play paintball! Its a tough job, but someones gotta do it :) #lovemyjob Goodnight Facebook!
