Wow. I just peeled and deveined some fresh shrimp. I had 2 pounds from the last drive up to Atlanta. So I picked them up Tuesday kept them on ice until Saturday. Then I put them in fridge in a bowl with an ice bag. Perfectly fresh!!! I put a tablespoon ok ok. 3 tablespoons of butter on low with my crushed red pepper blend that I have in a grinder. A few liberal grinds covering the bottom and in the shrimp went. 1 minute. Flip, then turn off gas and put on separate burner. Came back in 3 minutes , stirred , then put in bowl with a bit of Parmesan cheese. I fought the kids over it. I lost. I made a call to a few shrimpers today. We should have a plethora of 21-25s coming in late Monday night. its a great sight watching a shrimp boat come in with a haul!!! I will be meeting the boat Monday night and will be up to Atlanta 6 PM on Tuesday. Fish and crabmeat around noon Tuesday so if you want Mahi or Grouper let the Finn Team or myself know ASAP! Time to cook more shrimp. Thursday night, I will have the grill on at 6 to allow you to sample different rubs and marinades on shrimp and fish. Have a great Labor Day!!! The Fish Monger
