Wow! I just spent the morning moving into our new beautiful kitchen cupboards. All my glasses, plates and bowls were perfectly lined up behind the beveled glass panels. I felt really good getting to unpack all my favorites from my last 22 years of being careful. I was so happy curling up on the sofa after starting dinner on the stove. .........As You can maybe guess where this is heading........there Was a BIG horrible, unfathomable roar from the kitchen.........the Two cupboards had fallen off the wall, along with EVERYTHING in them. I was afraid to even look as it truly sounded as the wall was falling off of my house. Even the cupboards were in splinters. It actually was a horror looking at as my kitchen was knee deep in broken everything. After 7 big bags of rubble, and vacuum bags I was feeling like I may survive this after all. Just then Benjamin walked in and asked what smelled? I couldnt imagine how the damage smelled, but then realized that the stove top was still on and sometime the pot had been knocked off the burner, and instead an electrical cord had just melted through instead. After having to throw out dinner due to glass bits in it and damaging the stove top, we agreed to microwave dinner. Of course the day got worse. A prop went out and we lost all kitchen electricity with no extra props on hand. Were each having a snickers bar and hoping that tomorrow will be easier :)
