Wow! I seem to have sort of inadvertently bought an 850 watts RMS - TopicsExpress

Wow! I seem to have sort of inadvertently bought an 850 watts RMS Panasonic 5.1 surround sound home theatre system for $21 on Trademe. I just placed a flippant auto-bid of $21.50 because I thought the resting bid of $13 was just rude and disrespectful to that level of tech, and today I get an email saying, “I’m just down the road, come and get me.” It plays every format: CD, DVD, DVD R/RW etc, MP3, WMA, JPEG, MPEG4. The on/off switch mounting has cracked and the switch has been pushed into the case and the cooling fan is noisy. Oh dear, what a pity, ho hum. Otherwise it works fine. In other news today: 1 hour 10 minutes of pedalling carried me 15km at an average speed of 12.9 km/h, with a top speed of 28 km/hr (slow day). Total pedal pushing time over 3 days was 4 hours covering 55km. So tell me Merryn, if it’s easy and I enjoy it and I do it primarily to facilitate my days activities… is it ‘exercise’? I do do it 7 days a week and I guess my twinkle toes dance on the pedals, and there is certainly an element of gym-nastics in chasing parked cars and dodging Randomly Active Motor vehicles, and one mustn’t ignore the burden I carry on my back (pack). Even so, it does seem a bit cheeky to call it ‘exercise’ when I can’t not-do-it ‘cause otherwise I’d go stir crazy. Further news: Fitted the front forks and steering head to the Mojave 4.0 frame and the rear wheel and derailleur are ready to go in tomorrow. The damn thing is definitely an aggressive downhill racer though; I won’t be carrying any weight riding that. – I like it!
