Wow! I was awakened at 3:20 a.m. by an earthquake! So bizarre, let me tell you. I was fast asleep when the rumbly rocking motion woke me up. Where I live, it lasted about 5-7 seconds. I could hear wine glasses clinking as suspended in their wooden holder on top of my fridge. I got up, looked around, and things looked okay. Izzy was a bit shaken up, but was okay, too. Went back to bed and kinda-sorta slept. When I got up again around 6:45 and looked around, the only thing I noticed was that one of the drawers in my bedroom dresser had rolled open about an inch. From listening to the radio, I learned that the quake was a 6.0, the epicenter was up in Napa Valley, and that folks up there sustained damages. Fortunately, no loss of life. Hello, World - its Sunday morning in CA!
