Wow! I was so blessed and humbled this morning as I opened the mail and there we two envelopes, one from a church in Pulaski County who sent a very generous love offering so that we may continue the work here at the Refuge to help the hurting meet Jesus. These brothers and sisters in Christ have seen first hand through the Refuge how God sets free and changes those that surrender to Jesus. The other letter was from a local couple that said they decided to cancel their cable subscription and send this offering to the Refuge each month. Both of these acts really humbled me and reminded me of Gods goodness and His desire to see His work continue. These offerings come as we welcomed another young man to the Refuge Home and hope to see more delivered tonight at our Celebrate Recovery night service which begins at 7. Would you join us in prayer, expecting God to deliver. 2 Corinthians 8:3-5 (ESV) 3 For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own free will, 4 begging us earnestly for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints— 5 and this, not as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then by the will of God to us.
