Wow! I was too exhausted to write this last night. Disclaimer: Very seldom do I write about my job on social media....having said that....On last night, April 15, 2014, I hosted my annual get together at the downtown GPO. Tax night ladies and gentlemen! We opened at 7:00 am and had a posted window closing time of 8:00 pm. Why this information? I just want to take a minute to publicly laud and applaud the members of the A-Team. Thats right! The men and women that I have the pleasure of managing at the Houston GPO Window Unit. They are absolutely the best! No diggity...No doubt. With over sixty customers in the line at 8:00 pm, our last customer was served at the full service window at 9:22. Now this was three regulars, not to mention the two fantastic job of stamps and money orders generated in the Passport section by the best PSEs in the city of Houston! I didnt bite my tongue. I said it. The best! Then there was the television star in the outer lobby just plugging away! I will not call them by name. But if you see them just let them know that you know they are apart of the GPO Window Unit A-Team. I am proud of them and the caliber of service they provide our customers and I am proud to be their manager!
