Wow! If you did not go to this event tonight, you missed a great snapshot of the many positive things happening in Marion. Kudos to the 2013/2014 Leadership Class ... including Doris Dunn & Kelly M. Pettigrew-Garrett. Their video will be online & on YouTube soon. Congrats to all of the Rushmore Academy students who spoke ... you have taken control of your future and if you keep on this path, it will be so bright youll have to wear shades! (Okay, Im old & stole a song line!) And a standing ovation to tonights featured speaker and Downtown Marions board chair, Beth Meadows, for her inspired words. I hope someone taped her so her message can be shared. Applause to everyone involved!
