Wow. Its truly humbling to see Gods grace in action. KIMs resident nurse, Hannah, Jeff, and I prayed for provision for James late last Friday. It was a short prayer: God, take control. We trust that you can provide for James needs by Monday morning. I posted about it on Saturday afternoon. And by simply honoring the image of God in one indigent child -- without having to detail the price breakdown of the brain surgeon, plastic surgeon, anesthesiologist, medical supplies, etc. -- we passed our goal by Monday morning. Our God can truly do anything in spite of our faithlessness. What a relief that His power and love have nothing to do with whether we believe in Him or not. Thank you, prayer partners and donors, so so so much -- for being sensitive to the still, small voice, for being His hands and feet, for being a conduit of His mercy in the lives of others. Your kindness changes the world. If there are no complications, James should be released into our care within 24 hours. Please continue to pray for his health, and for Gods desire for his life to come to fruition. Pauline Lacanilao
