Wow!!!! Ive just read the report from the evening mail on millom carnival, well what can I say? I am very underwhelmed by it, it wasnt even lukewarm, None of the carnival organisers were approached for a quote, our queen Chloe Jackson was not approached for a quote, so many fantastic photo opportunitues were missed and no full run down of the winners and runners up of the float competition, also to describe the winning float as save millom clock when it was millom mothers millom of yesteryear is quite an insult and shows how little research was done on the day by the reporter. All of the carnival committee were clearly visible and available throughout the day and would have been happy to provide the information and suggestions of photo opportunities. We feel very let down by the evening mail that what could and should have been a fantastic article for one of the largest carnivals in cumbria turned out to be nothing more than a quick scribble with no effort or thought put into it in fact it looked like an afterthought. But hey ho all that were there at the carnival enjoyed it, its just a shame this never fully came across in the evening mail x
