Wow! Joe is out of surgery already and it went well. It scared me because wed been told it could take 4-5 hours and they called me up after just 2. Then the receptionist lady asked me if I had anyone with me and had me go sit in a consultation room for about 10 minutes (seemed longer) til the surgeon met with me. But all is well. Dr. Bledoe said it went fast because Joe is a thin guy and doesnt have a big, fat neck. :) So for now, Joe is in recovery for another hour or so and then I should be able to see him.
