Wow! Just ran into the legend, Prof Anjorin at Shoprite. Such wave of nostalgia flowed through me as he saw me from afar and beamed that his mischievous smile. I ran to meet him and was about to prostrate when he caught me midair with his hand from doing the full traditional idobale which I would have done not minding the crowd. I started introducing myself; sir, I was one of your students in medical school, now a consultant Nephrologist.. , he still caught me short as he responded; You! Who would ever forget that your face.......so when are you starting your renal transplantation program..... I introduced my wife and kids, but trust Prof, he still tasi my Omotayo by saying; of couse, from the way she was holding you tenaciously, I knew she must be your wife, I dont blame her though, any woman that does not hold a fine young man like you very tight is courting big trouble....(dont let me finish that part). Well, we stood there talking for a while before I saw him off to his car. He was extremely happy and proud to see one of his products. He didnt conceal his feeling of fulfilment. He had left before it dawned on me that I would have taken a picture with him as souvenir and to grace my fb wall. God bless my teachers.
