Wow! Luongo finally traded…what a class act!…came to the team 8 years ago...played brilliantly for the Canucks…turned the team around…captained the team…then years of playoff success that are a little lacking due to Canucks lack of scoring at key times…then won a gold medal for Canada on home-soil…then followed by years of shit and abuse..humiliated in public and humiliated with his peers by a management team that treated him like he was a Maple Leaf under Harold Ballard…they shun him, threaten him, take away his starting job under-handedly…and then trade Schneider (???) and awkwardly welcome him back with open arms…and Luongo barely said anything the whole time while under HUGE scrutiny for years… He responds with top of the league stats…again is chosen for Team Canada and brings gold home once again…may not have played much this time but if you watched the olympic coverage he was a strong team building factor…doesnt start in the outdoor game this past week…maybe another snub…(but maybe trade was in the works)…anyways…best goalie for Vancouver EVER most definitely, and one of the greats of all time…take your talents to South Beach once again Lu!…not a great team right now…but a few more years to get better and try to get the cup…and a few more years to play before the hall of fame and your induction in a Panthers jersey…BEST CANUCK EVER!
