Wow. Not entirely sure how I feel about this, but what an attack on a young girl! I fear the journalist is missing a huge point - Zoella wouldnt be the social media star if all she did was talk about feminism and didnt show young girls how to apply make up. This is a bigger issue and says more about our society and Zoella has not caused young girls to want to wear eyeliner. Shes young, and probably doesnt really understand the irony (remember when Charlotte Church told Canada how excited she was to be in America?) and theres actually nothing wrong with wanting to look pretty. And if shes able to teach teens how to apply make up properly - great! Well have less of them wearing eyeliner inside their eyes like we used to...
