Wow October! Heres a tidbit: betcha didnt know the chefs of Bincho at Hua Bee and Moosehead are actually good friends who really admire what the other does, so much that they frequent each others restaurants on their days off. Theyre now extending their friendship to diners: chef Asai and Manuel have adapted three of their favourite recipes at the others restaurant and will be serving it as a la carte dishes at their own space throughout October. At Bincho: we like the grilled octopus with red pepper sauce, finished with olive oil ($35) the most, although the deep-fried pigs ears with chilli powder ($16) come a close second. At Moosehead: go for the really tender beef tongue with garlic, butter and parsley on top ($25). The giant chicken neck tsukune (grilled chicken meatball) on a sliced of bread ($18) is a worthy mention.
