Wow! Okay...some AWESOME news here! Just received an email from Amanda Lindner, the Legislative Aide to Steve Stern (Legislator of the 16th District out in Suffolk County). Leg. Stern will be presenting me with a Proclamation for our film, This Is My Long Island! Legislator Stern will present the award at the Legislative session on Tuesday, July 29 at 9:15PM! This is HUGE for us as a production company...huge for me as a filmmaker! This is truly an AMAZING HONOR! Its my understanding that this HONOR is generally reserved for Veterans, Police officers and Fire fighters. And to receive this HONOR and RECOGNITION is nothing short of UNBELIEVABLE! To Gail M King and Shelly Cohen....I cannot THANK YOU two enough for introducing me to Leg. Steve Stern! Its my understanding that you two had a hand in this plot! LOL! Like you, he is a very AWESOME and down to Earth kinda guy!
