Wow! So I just saw on the news that a football player was charged with assault for spanking his kid with a wood switch. I guess they better find every parent over about 60, and charge them all. Spankings with switches, wooden spoons and other like things were common place when I was growing up. Of course, we learned what discipline and respect was, didnt even think about shooting everyone in school, grew up, got jobs and had families of our own which we have worked hard to support, so I guess it was terrible on all of us...
