Wow. So I love attending book readings, lectures, conferences, classes, etc. I love learning! Do some of you share this same interest? Jaim found a book reading tonight with an author whos latest book is about writing (so nice of him!). I was really tired but pushed myself to go thinking maybe Id learn something new to help with my blogging. Steven Pinker. Are you familiar with him? I think he is about the smartest person I have ever heard speak in my entire life!! I had to concentrate so hard to try to understand what he was saying. And he spoke SO extremely fast the most complex material. Even the answers he gave at the end for question and answer were extremely academic and brilliant. My jaw was dropped the whole way home... Jaim bought his latest book on writing in the 21st century that Ill probably have a look at sometime too. :) His last book about the world having less violence now looks very interesting! Have you read it? ps. When Jaim asked him to sign his book, I worked up the courage to ask him if he had any tips for blogging. He said not beyond his book... Felt so awkward. It was worth a shot!
