Wow. Splendour... you were amazing. Last night was one of the best nights of my life, losing myself front of stage to DARKSIDE and then to Nicolas Jaars closing set at the Red Bull stage. Seriously life changing, musical genius. Then there was losing my shit in tears of hysterical laughter to Dr. Sketchys burlesque cabaret Saturday and Sunday nights in the wonderful Chai tent. My set went down really well and the whole crew at Tipi Forest did such a good job, as well as being the best crew to work with ever. Also saw an amazing set with Vance Joy smashing it out like a pro with the sort of lighting and production that only comes with top end music industry, viewed of course from the rear centre engineers booth looking out over a massive crowd alongside the hob nobs of music industry. Having had the pleasure to play at Falls and Splendour this year, I have so much respect for Indy Festivals. The kids are so up for it and positive and the line up always exposes me to music that I wouldnt normally listen to and there is SUCH amazing talent out there in the world. Living the dream...
