Wow. Statistics like this are really depressing. And yet I know _so many_ people who dont even bother to recycle. What if we all just stepped it up a notch? Not recycling? Save your aluminum cans. Recycling only cans? Start recycling your paper. Recycling paper? Start recycling your plastic. Already doing those things? Start bringing in your own grocery bags, refusing styrofoam containers, and deliberately buying things with less packaging. If everyone kicked up their efforts to the next level, think of how much of a difference we could make!
