Wow!! Suggest that a nice horse who is in dire need, be gelded ,for his own future chance of a secure and happy life and that means I have a rescue mentality ?? I hardly think so...Unproven stallions, being offered for 350, with no show or track record of siring anything , deserve a chance at happy life. Going off to someone looking for a cheap stallion to cross on their other breed mares, is not , in my opinion, anything other than just another attempt at using a horse as a tool , and not the best option. So call me a meanie. I just care that the odds and future risk for the horse, go UP, not down. to me that is a responsible mentality, and nothing else.
