Wow!!! Thank you to all our dear friends and family that joined Bob and me to celebrate our marriage. We are truly touched by the outpouring of love weve received not only from everyone who was able to attend our party, but also from those who sadly could not be there. Special thanks to all our friends who showed up to perform and also to Michael Neufeld for the use of his amazing venue, The Gaslamp in Long Beach. Apologies to our musician friends (and to Andy J) who werent able to get stage time due to the various scheduling snafus. Thank you to the Willis Fisher band for getting the party started, to Phunkle for their performance (unfortunately short, but sweet it was), and to the Buzzy James Trio with Trish Burke for rocking the house and packing the dance floor. Special mention to Jeff & Virginie of Water Rights for bringing Kristina Powers-Borges , her daughter Mariella and husband Magrus Borges. Mariella is an amazing young musician/singer/songwriter who is surely destined for greatness. It was honor that Mariella chose our party to debut a few of her new songs. It was a joy to see her perform with her father Magrus (and also to see them accompanied by our dear friends, saxophonist Chris Strain and Luis Carrasco on Bass). In addition to the gift of music that was bestowed upon us at our celebration, we received many wonderful wedding gifts and cards. Words cannot begin to express how blessed we feel to have such loving, kind, generous friends and family. Thank you all for your love and support.
