Wow. The lack of respect displayed in the fandom lately is so disheartening. From the ones that harass them on Twitter calling them names and such, the hair fanatics campaigning against UNICEF the other day, and most recently the ones ambushing them at their houses and work, and the ones giving out Bårds personal information online and posting videos on instagram of them calling him. This is a total violation of Ylvis privacy, extremely disrespectful, and should not be tolerated in the fandom. Ylvis deserves respect and a private life as much as anyone. No wonder they are taking a break, this kind of stuff affects us all, may even drive them away. The silent majority is being affected by the vocal minority. I used to be proud to be a part of this fandom. Not so much anymore. I hope that we can show Ylvis that the majority of the fans respect them and do not condone or engage in such behaviors.
