Wow!! The media as usual, seems to have a party and make a marathon and thrive on natural disasters. I like most others are very sad about loss of life, property, houses, cars, bush and wildlife. But it seems to me it’s a good and useful service to have lines of communication working integrated and open and available to those who need it. But seen one flood or fire you’ve seen them all, why are we, inundated by a non-stop marathon as they might just as well record the fires and run them back whenever they happen (regularly). A Martian watching our media could be forgiven for thinking that’s all that is happening in Australia. The media thrive on sensational, the dramatic and negative, and is that all we deserve from our media??
