Wow! These people really know dogs and they do it right! We just left our two dogs while away for 2 weeks. Since they had never been left for so long we were nervous that they would not do well. Before we left they worked with us to help our high anxiety dog to adjust. While we were away they texted us a daily update with pictures and/or video so that we could see for ourselves that they were content. My kids especially loved this. Every morning they would ask if the dog report had arrived. It was so fun to see how they were doing and laugh at their antics as they made friends and played. Theres so much I love about this place - the awesomely patient and genuinely caring staff; the bright, cheerful and clean environment; the ability to observe via webcam; the training and philosophy for understanding and caring for dogs that they embrace; their organized yet flexible approach; baths to send them home (for a reasonable fee), their earnestness to protect and nurture. Honestly, we felt our dogs may not have wanted to leave there! We couldnt have been more pleased! Before choosing I toured several other places. The cost was quite comparable but the environment and staff at the other places were so poor that I shuddered at the idea of leaving our dogs. I felt we left our dogs in the best hands possible! Our dog, Cairo, even made their FB page! He looks pretty happy to me! Thank you to Happy Pets Palace & Playground for doing such an excellent job!
