Wow! Things are getting overly ridiculous with the PC crowd. Any parent will tell you, a 4 yr old is SUPPOSED to be naturally curious and they WILL ask inappropriate questions. Its the parents job to gently teach from these instances what is and is not ok to ask and why. I cant tell you the number of times something like this happened over the years. Dillon was very curious and used to ask people all sorts of things. Abby was a loud whisperer. When she figured out she shouldnt ask the people, she would ask me in a loud whisper that everyone could hear lol. Its a PROCESS molding young, inquisitive minds. Teaching empathy and the social graces while keeping that curious nature intact takes time, patience and lots of practice. This shop owner needs his other customers with children to tell him that when they tell him why they wont be coming back.
