Wow! This labor has been different from Savannahs in every possible way. Some good, some not. I had contractions last night for a few hours and by noon today they were fairly regular. I checked into the hospital at 2pm to be monitored for an hour and while my contractions were getting much stronger and closer together, I was progressing at a snails pace and after each contraction Maxs heart rate drops. Since its been hard to track him and they havent been able to pinpoint the issue, they broke my water and attached a heart rate monitor to his head. Everything is going ok, now that they can keep a closer eye on him. I still feel very positive and am in good spirits, everything will be great and I am very excited that we get to meet our son sometime soon!!!! Come on Maxwell, its time to make your grand entrance!!!
