Wow!! This weekend I competed in the Aussie Titles 24hr Obstacle Enduro and came 2nd Woman! (My second proper Obstacle Race too!!!!) Such a brutal course - Sooooo much mud, rain, water, testing obstacles, awesome competitors and did I say mud?! Very very challenging however I loved it!! (Haha of course I would!! ;) Body held up amazingly well and really was an absolute weapon (despite my very limited obstacle racing skills and technique, I just muscled through it) and I finished 9 laps, 98km and over 270 obstacles in 21hours!! I do have a bit of swelling in my arms and hands but the body sure did what the mind wanted it to!! Yet again my body astounds me. Quite a few rest days coming up to thank it :) My highlight(?!:) was the 35kg sandbag carry up and down a steep muddy hill, and with the huge amount of rain made the going so tough and the sandbag way heavier!!! There sure was a lot of grunting from me haha! My mate Andrew Hubcap was my super duper support crew and kept me amazingly fed, watered and supported on course, but more so kept me in such high spirits even in very wet and cold conditions (which made his job much more challenging and definitely less fun. I really really couldnt have done it without him. Thanks so much man!! Just flew back to the Gold Coast, an hour drive to Brisbane and then Ill rest this tired and super achy body, Thanks so everyone for all of your support!! :)
