Wow WCOPA 2014 you truly blew me away. I am and was humbled by all the talent and dedication I saw on display in LA. Life has a funny way of bringing people and events into your life that fundamentally change you. WCOPA was just such an event for me. Artists are a scruffy, motley bunch of dreamers and myth-makers. We seek to make sense and find connections in a world that is rapidly falling to chaos and isolationism. Now more that ever the world needs artists. The world needs dreamers. The world needs us. So many of you (WCOPA participants) approached and thanked me over the last couple of days but it is me who should be thanking you. Thank you for your talent. Thank you for your dedication. Thank you for inspiring me, for humbling me, and for reminding me why I got into this crazy business to begin with . . . to connect. As the days turn into months and the months into years do not forget the momentary monument to art and entertainment that your created . . . I know I wont. Cheers
