Wow, a simple scratched design on a rock leads to ten tons of sasquatch speculation... GLYPHS, my friends! David Alan Claerr/Michael Brookreson: This is another, older glyph that was scored or etched into the limestone bedrock of the creek. There is a buildup of silt over it. It is interesting in that it is a form that is drawn of two enclosed rectangles that overlap making a cruciform shape. This shows a human-like degree of sophistication. We dont really know the meaning of these glyphs. Interestingly though, there have been anecdotal reports that the Sasq in this area have belief systems that are a combination of Shamanistic practices and a form of Christianity. I have heard similar stories in other parts of Texas.
