Wow...another awesome practice session. Thanks to Coach Mark and Coach Dan for putting together and thanks to everyone that came and volunteered. Running heats of these WODs and getting your feedback is much better than us just testing with our own athletes. Some things we learned! WOD2 (Hold On aka Grip Buster aka Forearms of Fire aka My Low Back Hurts) - Communication is CRITICAL among teams here. Talk to each other. A lot. - Guys hold and pull guy bars/weights. Girls hold and pull girl bars/weights. All-guy and all-girl teams are free to move from bar to bar and box to box (can mix between the two lanes your team has been assigned). Co-ed athletes will be staying in their lane (guys together in their lane, girls together in their lane). WOD4 (Snatch-Nado) - Scaled athletes must open/extend hips when jumping up in their squat jumps, but have no set requirement for how high their feet need to be as a result of the jump (just get them off the ground). Registration closes a week from tonight! Heat Schedules will be released and locked next Sunday morning. GET SOME!
