Wow, are your responses to my questions interesting? We are so into our electronic age that we hardly notice when choices are taken from us. I do enjoy my reading device immensely, particularly when I travel--much easier than an extra bag filled with books. But the pleasure I get from holding a book never fades. Yesterday I went to Bellevue Barnes and Noble to hear a childrens choir (they were sweet and very good) then I prowled the store, just picking up books, looking at covers, reading the openings. Best day I recall in a long time. Simple pleasures we take for granted until they are no longer easy to find. Do you think we will ever see a fresh proliferation of book shops?
