Wow great to see people helping the homeless bc you never know their story. Todd Romero, Tylon Romero, me and Austin ( Niki Green Craig Green ) came across a homeless veteran that had made his way from Texas and was headed to nola to hopefully get a job. He was a once handsome older man that was ironically full of life and very happy. We talked to him at the tiger truck stop in gros tete, I explained to the boys that he was homeless and what it meant to be homeless. Boy did they have questions. This mans story was so sad. Sometimes homelessesness happens to great ppl. The boys wanted to do something for him. Todd gave him the cash he had on him and a phone number to possibly help him get a job, the boys asked if he was hungry. We had just bought a whole box and sides of popeyes. He said he was starving. So I made him a plate full. He immediately started chowing down. The kids left feeling better about themselves and hopefully was taught a beautiful yet hard life lesson. :)
