Wow… here it is less than a week away before Day on the Beach is going to happen!!! Over the last couple of months and especially the last two weeks I have been focusing all my energy to make this happen! To make this happen is not me alone but numerous people that are helping!! And I can’t thank them all enough because it really takes a whole village (400 volunteers) to put this on!!! All my key players are in place and almost have everything checked of my “to do” list. There are two things that are getting down to the wire on what we need though. One is a Certified Marine Life guard. No one seems to be available. They need to be there from 10am to 5pm. I can compensate $25/hour. If you might know of anyone or someone else may know someone that might know please contact me. The second thing we need is 3- 6 double closed deck kayaks. We have two major kayak businesses loaning a bunch of theirs but we still need more get all the folks we have pre-registered.. So, if you might know anyone or… I can only get on fb every so often now so that is why you haven’t virtual seen me. Its great tool to get the word out there so you will see more posting. July 19th is ground zero this weekend for many out of town residents and many locals! The whole day will prove to be very magical one just like the last 21!! I look forward to seeing you all there that can make it and for those that can’t we’ll take lots of pictures and video coverage so we can capture the day like you were really there!!!
