Wow hospitals are sure beginning to be similar to that of a military hospital...........get them in and ship them out. Brother had open heart surgery last Wednesday, after having his chest cut open with a scalpel then the chest plate cut open with a saw and his heart taken out to have new veins attached that were taken from his leg (70 stitches) and arm (30odd stitches) put back in attached it up wired shut then stapled shut and out by Monday! Dad today had his day op to have permanent caffetta put in, he couldnt have sedated surgey due to his lung cancer, and bad heart etc. so he had an epidural instead, I left him as he was changing into his gown around 8 am..... they just called to say pick him up after 12 pm....what happened to rest and after care? No way could he possibly still feel his legs! Again, wow!
