Wow. my Congressman (or staff member) wrote me a letter telling me that is doing what his Consitituents want. This is what I wrote back: Dear Congressman Heck, I cannot believe you think I am so stupid. I would have rather you had ignored my letter, rather than write back and lie to me. First of all, you are dead wrong what you believe your constituents want. The American people want you to pass a bill that funds the government, without any riders. You understand this? That is what Americans want. As a Republican living in your district, I want you to stand up to small tea party members and vote for America. We dont want your silly games and lies. No one believes them. Do you really think American believes your lies? We all know you shut down the Government out of spite. I doubt I will vote for any Republican in 2016 and certainly not you. But if you stand up to the rest of the radicals in your party, I might reconsider. I know, why dont you try to make a name for yourself, try to be a leader, a voice of wisdom, by trying to get the Republicans in Congress to have a little common sense and vote for what the average American wants. Once again, the average American wants you to pass a law to fund the government, a bill that the Senate will approve. Thank you, Kevin and Betty Hodsdon
